The City of California has officially executed a contract with Greyhound, the largest provider of intercity bus transportation in North America, to provide bus service to the area twice a day. Located at 108 W Versailles Ave. on the southside of Smith-Burke Park-- across the street from the California Nutrition Center-- service is scheduled to begin on July 22nd.
The eastbound bus is scheduled to arrive in California at approximately 3:25 p.m. It will then stop in Jefferson City, Columbia and Wentzville before arriving in St. Louis. The westbound bus is scheduled to arrive in California at 7:05 p.m. It will have a single stop in Warrensburg before arriving in Kansas City. From these locations, customers can also gain access to Greyhound’s nationwide network. The city is pleased to welcome Greyhound and hopes it will be an added benefit to the citizens and visitors of Moniteau County.
As a self-service e-stop, customers must book tickets or contact customer service by visiting Greyhound.com, the Greyhound mobile app or by calling 1-800-231-2222.
