DALLAS (November 5, 2025) — Flix North America, parent company of FlixBus and Greyhound and the continent’s largest intercity bus service, today announced the launch of new and upgraded service across Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, and North Carolina. This expansion further strengthens the company’s Southeast network and ensures travelers continue to have access to affordable, reliable transportation across the region.
The new routes will connect major cities like Atlanta, Jacksonville, Charlotte, Raleigh, and Charleston, along with several smaller communities throughout the region. The expansion follows recent changes to intercity bus service in these areas, and underscores Flix North America’s commitment to keeping travelers connected and providing more budget-friendly, accessible alternatives to other modes of transportation.

New Greyhound Routes from Atlanta
Greyhound is launching two new routes based out of Atlanta, reinforcing the city’s position as a key mobility hub in the Southeast:
Atlanta – Florence– Myrtle Beach – Charleston
This new line provides a direct connection from Atlanta through South Carolina’s coastal corridor, linking travelers to some of the region’s most visited destinations.Atlanta – Athens – Augusta – Florence – Raleigh
This route strengthens intercity connections between Georgia and the Carolinas, offering new travel options between major academic, cultural, and economic centers.
New and Updated FlixBus Routes
FlixBus is also expanding its Southeast network with one brand-new route and adjustments to two existing ones to improve connectivity through the Carolinas and Georgia:
NEW: Orlando – Daytona Beach – Jacksonville – Savannah – Charlotte
A new FlixBus line connecting northern Florida to key cities in Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina linking travelers from the coast to the Carolinas.UPDATED: Orlando – Charlotte – Raleigh
The existing Orlando–Raleigh route now travels through Charlotte, providing faster and more convenient north-south connections.UPDATED: Atlanta – Augusta – Florence – New York City
One of four daily Atlanta–NYC roundtrips will now operate via these cities, connecting South Carolina and eastern Georgia to our broader East Coast network.
Together, these additions will maintain and strengthen vital connections for communities across the Southeast, ensuring uninterrupted mobility for millions of travelers.
